Dr. Amar Johri has been an Assistant Professor in the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences at Saudi Electronic University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, since September 2019. He has more than 18 years of academic experience and obtained his doctorate (PhD) from Graphic Era University, Dehradun, India.
His research interests include financial services, financial markets, banking, investment, accounting, auditing, IFRS, AIS, and general management. He has published around 90 research papers in national and international journals including Web of Science (SSCI, SCIE), Scopus, and ABDC journals with an impact factor of 15+ and cite score of 17+. He has presented around 60 research papers at conferences worldwide.
He has completed funded research projects, authored an accounting book, published two patents, and holds memberships on editorial boards of reputed Web of Science and Scopus-indexed journals. He serves as an external examiner for PhD theses and as an academic expert for reviewing program structures.
