About the Session – “Creative Futures”

Arts as Catalysts for Inclusion and Innovation examines how artistic practice, cultural production and creative industries—amplified by digital tools and community-led approaches—can drive measurable social inclusion and sustainable urban and cultural development. The session foregrounds real-world examples where arts interventions have reduced social exclusion, generated livelihoods and reshaped public spaces and policy. It brings together artists, cultural managers, educators, technologists, community leaders and policymakers to surface scalable models, evidence-based impact and pathways for cross-sector collaboration. Formats include keynote talks, practitioner case studies, interactive performances, policy roundtables and hands-on workshops that demonstrate tools and methods for inclusive creative practice.

Objective of Session

To demonstrate and operationalize the role of the arts in advancing equity and sustainable communities by showcasing innovative projects, evidence of impact and practical frameworks that integrate creativity with technology, education and local development. The session aims to move beyond rhetoric to concrete strategies that participants can adapt and implement in diverse contexts.
