Dr. Krishna R. Reddy is a professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering, director of Sustainable Engineering Research Laboratory, and director of the Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. He received gold medals during B.E. in Civil Engineering at Osmania University and M.E. in Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. His teaching and research expertise includes civil and geotechnical infrastructure systems, water and environmental pollution remediation, waste management and recycling, and sustainable and resilient engineering. Dr. Reddy has received several awards, including ASCE Wesley W. Horner Award, ASTM Hogentogler Award, the UIC Distinguished Researcher Award, University of Illinois Scholar Award, and University of Illinois Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Prof. M. Amarnath Reddy is working as Professor in Department of Civil Engineering Indian institute of Technology, Kharagpur. His area of specialization is Transportation Engineering and specific interests are Structural Evaluation of Pavements, Sustainability concept in Pavement Materials and Design. He has 30 years of academic and research experience. Dr Reddy has published more than 100 technical papers in International, national journals & conferences and he has carried out research projects sponsored by different government agencies and also several consultancy projects in Transportation Engineering. Most of the research project outcome has practical relevance and helped to revise or formulate new guidelines of Indian Road Congress (IRC).

Dr. Reddy was principal Investigator for a project “Network center on Highway and Airport Pavements” sponsored by Indo-US Scientific Forum (IUSSTF) . Currently he has three sponsored research projects from NRIDA and MoRTH, Govt of India. He has contributed to the revisions of Indian Roads Congress ((IRC) specifications such as IRC: 37 (Design of flexible pavements) and IRC: 58 (Design of rigid pavements) and also for formulation of IRC specifications IRC:115-2014- Flexible pavement overlay design methodology using Falling weight Deflectometer (FWD) Technique. Two more IRC guidelines on “ High Performance (HiPER) Bituminous Mixtures for high volume roads” and “ Design of short slab concrete pavements (SSCP) for Indian highways” are approved . Currently Dr. Reddy is member of H3 and H5 committee of IRC.

Dr. B. Hanumantha Rao is an Associate Professor in School of Infrastructure, IIT Bhubaneswar. He obtained his BTech from Osmania University, Hyderabad, Master’s and PhD degree from IIT Bombay. He did his Post-Doctoral Research from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. He also worked as Scientific Officer-D at Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd., Mumbai

He has over 11 years of research, teaching, and consulting experience within the broad field of civil engineering’s: Geotechnical, materials, and environmental engineering. His research expertise includes Ground Improvement, Sensors and Sensing Techniques for Geosystems and Geo-environmental Engineering.

His research developments include Hydro-pneumatic based constant load application device, Laser-based non-contact volume change measuring device, and many more. He is also part of many Sponsored Research Projects by CSIR, DST, NALCO, and many other funding agencies. He has been also part of several consultancy projects.

He has over 40 publications in various peer reviewed reputed Journals, has 26 conference proceedings in various National and International conferences and 2 book chapters.

He is an Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Geosynthetics and Ground Engineering and Environmental Geotechnics Journal and reviewer for over 13 different journals which includes ASTM Geotechnical Testing Journal, Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical and Geological Engineering Journal, Springer and many other of international repute.

He has delivered many expert lectures at various National and International level seminars, conferences and workshops.

Dr. Norazura Muhamad Bunnori is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Malaya, Malaysia. She earned her Ph.D. degree from Cardiff University, UK, in 2008. Her teaching and research expertise encompass civil and structural engineering. She has authored more than 60 articles in international journals and has participated in over 10 international conferences. Under her guidance, 10 Ph.D. research scholars have been awarded, and an additional 10 students are currently conducting their research under her supervision. She received a silver medal from the Malaysia Technology Expo held in 2013 and a bronze medal from University Technology Mara in 2012. She has served as a speaker in more than 25 international conferences and workshops. Her contributions have led to the successful acquisition of 20 research projects from various grant schemes, including the “Impact-Oriented Interdisciplinary Research Grant (IIRG),” “Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS),” and “Exploratory Research Grant Scheme (ERGS),” among others.

Dr. Prangya Ranjan Rout is presently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar, Punjab India. He holds B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in Biotechnology and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering. His research interest lies in the domain of bioreactor design, anaerobic digestion, bioconversion of wastes to wealth, emerging contaminants removal, membrane technology, resource recovery and reuse, and wastewater treatment. Till date he has over 80 scholarly contributions, including refereed journal articles (38), granted patent (1), published patent (1), edited books (2), book chapters (25), national (16) and international conference (11) presentations to his credit. So far, he has been awarded research fundings of approximately ₹ 2 Crore for the execution of three research projects related to resource (phosphorous) recovery, and gut microbiome. He is the recipient of SERB-SIRE Fellowship for the year 2023-24. Some of the awards he has received include Odisha Young Scientist Award 2017, Best Practice Oriented Paper 2019 by American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE), and Outstanding Reviewer 2019 by ASCE. He is an Associate Editor of the ASCE Journal of Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Wastes and has served as a guest editor of a special issue of the journal. He is an Editorial Board Member of Journal of Water Process Engineering, Elsevier. He is also actively involved in Editing contributed book volumes for internationally renowned publishers like CRC Press, John Wiley & Sons, Elsevier, ASCE, etc.
