Biography

Dr. Mohan Lal Verma is well-known physicist and material scientist, having pioneered work on computational material modelling in India. He is currently working as Professor and Head of the Department of Applied Physics at SSTC and works closely with students and Ph. D. scholars, guiding them on emerging topics and new subjects. He is also spearheading the work on quantum chemistry based software called SIESTA and is working to help Indian students and teachers become familiar with this new technology that is ready to be launched. He is a an active life member of several professional bodies like National Society of Solid State Ionic, Material Research Society of India, The Society for Advancement of Electrochemical Science and Technology, Karaikudi etc. and is passionate about contributing to scientific development though his research activities. Dr. Verma is highly accomplished in the field of computational material physics and he works in close collaboration with the faculty of Applied Physics, Michigan University USA for various research projects. He has published 45 research papers in national and international journals, organized several national conferences and international workshops. Having successfully completed two research projects, Dr. Verma is a highly sought after academician and scientist, who brings his expertise in computational/ mathematical modelling, Siesta and related post processing, plotting and visualization tools and Quantum Expresso. He has also worked on emerging technologies like polymeric electrolytic materials and designing electrodes in the form of nano ribbons and nano belts for different electrochemical and optoelectronic devices viz solid state battery, super capacitors organic light emitting diodes and light emitting electrochemical cells.

Dr. Mohsin Shaikh is a distinguished academic with an extensive background in management and economics. Holding multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA, MA in Economics, MA in Public Administration, and a PhD from the University of Pune, Dr. Mohsin Shaikh has over 25 years of experience teaching postgraduate students at various prestigious institutes, including the University of Pune, Shivaji University, and Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. Dr. Mohsin Shaikh has earned recognition as a research guide, with three PhD students currently under their mentorship, and has successfully guided ten PhD and two M.Phil students to completion. Their research, with publications in reputed journals and presentations at national and international conferences, focuses on HRM, Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainable Development. Trained in the Case Method of Teaching by Harvard Business School, Dr. Mohsin Shaikh has authored books on Industrial Psychology, Organizational Behavior, and Business Research Methods. They are an active member of several professional bodies, including the International Society for Development and Sustainability (ISDS) Japan and the National HRD Network, among others. Dr. Mohsin Shaikh has also engaged in academic assignments in Rwanda, Indonesia, and Iran, further broadening their global academic perspective.

Biography

Presently, Dr. Beauty Pandey is working in the capacity of Associate Professor (Physics) at Woxsen University, Hyderabad. Previously, she was at ICFAI University Tripura as an Assistant Professor in Physics. Recently, she was awarded SERB-SIRE fellowship by DST to visit for attaining International Research Experience. She has been part of the team which had successfully innovated solar powered vaccine refrigerator, an external project funded by InSIC, Finland. Post Ph.D, she had won the prestigious DST Women Scientist fellowship of Government of India and worked as an independent PI at IIT Madras. She was also awarded InSIC, Finland funded project on solar power enabled low- cost wheelchair. She is an IIT-ISM Dhanbad alumnus. Having done her M.Phil (Applied Physics, focussed on experimental material science) she went on to complete her Ph.D (Applied Physics)from IIT-ISM Dhanbad in experimental material science and Nanomaterials. She has in depth knowledge and hands on experience of all the fundamental physics and kinetics that goes at micro/nano level. She has been at IIT Madras as a Women Scientist for her Post-Doctoral work. Here, she worked extensively on nanostructures, solar energy applications, graphene and graphene like materials. Her vast research experience is adequately showcased by her high number and strongly impactful publications in various scientific journals of international repute. Some of her journal publications have been listed. She is an experienced and passionate educator with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. She has taught various courses like Engineering Physics, Nanoscience, Nanophysics, Experimental Techniques, Heat, Radiation, Thermodynamics, Statistical Physics, Quantum Physics, Semiconductors, Condensed Matter Physics, Mechanics, Electronics etc at Grad and Under-Grad level. Has been instrumental in introducing various new courses. Has advanced knowledge in many analytic techniques and scientific equipments. Fluent in MS-Office, HTML, CSS etc. Very much experienced in developing online course content. Recently submitted two projects on to DST. Few more projects, manuscripts and book chapters are under preparation and will be submitted soon. Member of IIC-MHRD, ACIC-NITI Aayog, NAAC, Project & Consultancy Committee, Departmental BoS Committee and Course Curriculum Review Committee. She has been the organiser and convener of many technical and scientific events. A very good speaker, presentor, writer and team leader. Very friendly, empathetic and a team player.

Dr. S. V. A. R. Sastry did B.Tech (Chemical Engg.) from NIT Jalandhar, M.Tech (Process Engg. Design) from IIT Delhi & PhD (Chemical Engg.). 20 years of academic and research experience. 46 papers in international journals; 44 papers in conferences. Done research in Nanotechnology, Biodiesel Production, Bio-lubricants, Cyclone separation, E-waste management; authored sixteen books. Life Member [IIChE, IE(I) and IACSIT]. Editorial board member for five international journals, reviewer for 10 International journals and permanent reviewer for two Elsevier Journals (Energy Conversion& Management; Journal of Cleaner Production). Got the BEST TEACHER AWARD, A.P in 2013. Biography published in Marquis Who's Who in the World, US, 31st, 32nd & 33rd editions. Listed in "100 Best Educators of 2014", "2000 OUTSTANDING INTELLECTUALS OF THE 21ST CENTURY" and "Leading Professionals of the World-2014" by IBC, Cambridge, England. He is giving consultation in the design and implementation of ‘High Speed Industrial Vaporizer’, ‘Mixing Device for Chemical Absorption Process’ and ‘Exploring Disruptions, Formulations, and Technologies in Lubricant Industry’ to Convetit, U.S. He has given more than 10 Keynote lectures in various International Conferences held at Brazil, Dubai, Spain, China and Canada. He got the University Research Excellence Award for 2022-2023 from HBTU Kanpur. He also received the Pillars of the Nation Award for Excellence and Innovation in Education Sector from the Delhi Vidhan Sabha in 2023. He also got the Outstanding Alumni Faculty Award from IIT Delhi in 2023. He is also selected as Fellow by Institution of Engineers (India) in 2024. He got selected as ‘Regional Mentor of Change for Uttar Pradesh’ by Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, GOI, New Delhi. Got 3 International Process Patents, 3 Indian Process Patents and 7 Design Patents.

Biography

I am a mathematics professor at Saveetha Engineering College in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, holding a Ph.D. in mathematics. Recognized as a Research Supervisor in Mathematics by Anna University with reference number 4170053, my expertise lies in the areas of nonlinear and fractional differential equations, mathematical modeling, wavelets, and semi-analytical methods. I have previously held positions as an Associate Professor of Mathematics at the Saveetha School of Engineering in Chennai and as a Professor of Mathematics at the Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research in Chennai. During my 24-year career, I also served as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at SASTRA Deemed University in Thirmalaisamudram, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India. With a wealth of experience spanning 25 years, I have been actively involved in instructing science and engineering students in both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) mathematics. My proficiency extends to online mathematics instruction. My research contributions are reflected in the publication of 24 articles in reputable international journals, with 15 of them indexed in Scopus and 6 in SCI. Both my h-index and i10-index are six, and my work has garnered 129 citations. In addressing complex challenges related to chemical, biochemical, and biological physical events governed by nonlinear and fractional differential equations, I employ innovative approaches such as semi-analytical and wavelet methods. Currently, my research focus centers on fractional wavelets and fractional differential equations.
