About the FDP
IFERP organizes a one week Faculty Development Programme on “Outcome Based Education (OBE) from 25th July, 2022 to 31st July, 2022. The objective of this FDP was to nurture the philosophy of Outcome Based Education (OBE) and to build the capacity of the young Faculty Members / Heads of department / Principal so as to facilitate its institutionalization in the Teaching-Learning System and other Academic Processes of the Institution. This Faculty Development Programme addresses the need to enhance the knowledge about the latest Outcome Based Education (OBE) its implications in teaching, assessment, evaluation and accreditation.
To Provide knowledge of outcome-based teaching and learning methods.
Early career researchers, young academicians, and other participants will be trained to improve their knowledge and skills in outcome-based teaching and research.
To develop the course outcomes (CO) for the courses.
To Give a thorough understanding of teaching pedagogy.
To Allow participants to discuss and learn about the challenges that education and research face in the current virtual era.
Early career researchers, young academicians, and other participants will be trained on how to use technology in teaching and research.
Participants will be able to experiment with outcome-based teaching and learning methods.
Participants will be able to identify emerging research areas in a variety of specializations and fields of study.
With the assistance of experts, participants will be able to produce quality research work that will be published in reputable journals at the national and international levels.
The participants will be able to appreciate the challenges that teaching-learning methods and research face, as well as better prepare themselves for them.
